The Federal Government Press and Information Office (BPA) is responsible for the German government's online communication and operates the various websites for target group and topic-specific digital online communication based on the content management system CoreMedia 9. These include online portals for government communication or the websites offered by the CvD (head of the service) for journalists and media, and last but not least dialogue portals for direct exchange with citizens.
The aim of the call for tenders is to conclude three contracts in the following lots:
Lot 1 - IT operations (service contract)
Lot 2 - CMS (including new and further developments as well as support services) and coordination services (framework agreement)
Lot 3 - Digital asset management system (DAM) (framework agreement)

IT operationsWe are looking for a contractor who, among other things, will provide an overall IT system for hosting and operating the various online communication applications, implement suitable measures to defend against information security risks and cyber attacks on the infrastructure and content.
CMS (including new and further developments as well as support services) and coordination servicesThey are looking for a contractor who, among other things, will provide a CMS, migrate current websites including all content and (meta) data, and provide technical and non-technical services to operate and further develop the federal government's websites. In addition, the contractor should provide coordination services between all contractors in lots 1 to 3.
Digital asset management system (DAM)We are looking for a contractor who will provide a DAM, migrate the image, video and audio files (media) existing in the current DAM, including all (meta) data, and (not) provide technical services for operation and for new or further development.
