Lillesand and Birkenes municipalities will enter into agreements for the emptying of private sludge plants in the municipalities that they are required to empty pursuant to § 26 of the Pollution Control Act. (mini-treatment plants, sludge interceptors and blocked collection tanks).

Both Lillesand municipality and Birkenes municipality are to be considered independent contracting authorities in this agreement.
