Complete rail renewal for the Wilhelmshöhe depot level crossing in the Bad Wilhelmshöhe district

Kasseler Verkehrsgesellschaft AG (hereinafter referred to as "KVG"), as a subsidiary of Kasseler Verkehrs- und Versorgungs-GmbH, intends to award the contract for construction work for the basic rail renewal of the Wilhelmshöhe depot level crossing in the Bad Wilhelmshöhe district of Kassel.

The object of the construction work to be awarded is essentially track construction work and the associated restoration of the surface. The construction site is located in the section of tram line 1 in the district of Bad Wilhelmshöhe. The replacement of the track system is to take place at the level crossing to the Wilhelmshöhe depot at the Hessischer Rundfunk stop.

The construction works to be awarded include in particular:

- General works such as construction site equipment, traffic safety and search shafts;

- Taking up the track and road surfaces, such as the removal of the curbs, the removal of pavements and slabs, the removal of base courses and asphalt, the removal of unbound base courses and earthworks and the removal of other installations;

- Track construction work such as removal and installation of the grooved track, installation and removal of climbing switches, welding and grinding work;

- Manufacture of track and road surfaces as well as ancillary areas of stops, such as the installation of unbound base courses, curbs and edge fastenings, the installation of asphalt base and dirt layers, the production of surfaces in the track and ancillary areas, cable work, surface drainage and other measures of the superstructure;
