The purpose of the tender is to contract one Contractor who can (re)supply electricity and gas for Noorderpoort in accordance with the functional and technical requirements set by the Client, whereby it is possible to spread the purchase of energy over different moments. This makes the energy budget manageable for the Client. The Client contracts 1 Contractor for the supply of both electricity and gas.

The Contract is awarded according to the model award on value. This methodology is used for the best price-quality ratio, so price is still the most important component in this tender. These criteria shall be further elaborated in the tender documents.
