Just point Tenderlake to your services profile page in G-Cloud and it will continually identify new public contract opportunities…automatically, tirelessly and starting right now.
How it works:
When suppliers are accepted into the UK Government’s G-Cloud they often expect their inboxes to be flooded with emails from public sector buyers eager to buy their services or learn more.
But for most G-Cloud suppliers, the actual experience is somewhat different and more underwhelming.
It turns out, that to win public sector contracts you actually have to do it in the traditional way: You have to find the opportunity yourself (it’s not coming to you) and submit a convincing bid.
Being in the G-Cloud is often an advantage when it comes to finalising contracts and invoicing, but much less so when it comes to finding the right opportunities.
This is even more true if you have an offering that is relevant for public sector organisations outside central government.
From 2012 to March 2018, 83% of all G-Cloud spend was done by central government, and not much is changing. In the first quarter of 2018 the figure was 82%.
So, if you want to sell to any of the 20,000 or so public sector buyers outside central government, such as NHS and the wider health and social care sector, Local Government, Devolved Administrations, Police, Education, Not-for-Profit, Fire and Rescue, and so on, relying on the buyers coming to you, is not a good strategy.
As part of entering into G-Cloud you had to create a profile (web) page for your service in the Digital Marketplace and (in most cases) as Service Definition, which is listed on your service’s profile page as a pdf document.
With Tenderlake you can turn each of these two assets into robots that continuously hunt for relevant procurement notices.
Just point Tenderlake to your services’ profile page (a web link) or drag-and-drop your Service Definition (pdf) to Tenderlake.
Tenderlake will read your services’ profile page and/or the Service Definition and understand what the service is about.
Once Tenderlake has confirmed with you that its understanding of your service is correct, you can let it loose and start hunting for open opportunities.
Every day (and night) it will now look for public contract opportunities (or other relevant procurement notices, such as invitation to supplier days, pipeline notices, etc.) and alert you when it finds anything relevant.
When an opportunity is identified, you can provide 1-click feedback to further hone your robot’s understanding of what you are looking for.
So now that you are offering a great service to the public sector and have spent lots of time and money to get into G-Cloud, turn your Service Profile into a smart business development robot that will start filling your inbox with great opportunities.
Sign-up and start using Tenderlake today or contact us to arrange a demonstration where we show you how your G-Cloud material can be turned into a contract-hunting robot that automatically finds all the great opportunities.
Example:
Find your Service Profile page in the Digital Marketplace.

Copy the link to the profile page or the Service Description pdf to Tenderlake.
