Description:
The assignment focuses on creating a care-specific CO₂ reporting platform for Ziekenhuis aan de Stroom to enable effective mapping, analysis, and reduction of its CO₂ footprint through a robust and flexible data architecture.

Subject of these services: The assignment involves the development and delivery of a care-specific CO₂ reporting platform, including measurement and decision-making strategy, automated calculation, visualization, and simulation of reduction measures, supported by a scalable data platform and integrated project management, with flexibility and avoidance of vendor lock-in being central. Explanation: This assignment involves concluding a framework agreement with one contractor for the design, development, and delivery of a care-specific CO2 reporting platform for Ziekenhuis aan de Stroom (ZAS) vzw. ZAS is a merger organization consisting of multiple hospital campuses and support services, with a complex and large-scale care structure. Within this context, there is a need for an integrated application that maps the ecological footprint of care trajectories and provision, buildings, etc. Goal of the assignment: The goal of the assignment is to design, develop and deliver a care-specific CO₂ reporting platform for Ziekenhuis aan de Stroom (ZAS), enabling ZAS to map, analyze and reduce its CO₂ footprint in a structured, reproducible, and future-proof manner. The assignment does not solely involve delivering a reporting tool, but involves developing an abstract, care-specific, and future-proof emissions model, supported by a robust data architecture that allows data from multiple complex source systems to be unlocked, modeled, and processed reproducibly. The solution should enable ZAS to calculate, analyze, and use its CO₂ footprint at various levels of granularity as a decision-making tool for reduction measures.
