The subject of the tender is the delivery, installation, configuration, and operational handover of a Nutanix-based Hyper Converged Infrastructure system. The system includes an Office Cluster, a Science Cluster, as well as a Witness Node, including the associated servers, storage, and network components according to the technical requirements of the specification. Additionally, the necessary Nutanix software licenses for a period of seven years and services for commissioning and exemplary migration of five VMware-based virtual machines must be provided. The service will be rendered as a system delivery based on the EVB IT System Delivery Contract.

The client intends to establish a scalable, highly available, and centrally manageable hyper-converged infrastructure that supports both office and scientific workloads. The delivery includes clusters consisting of several server nodes each, which must meet the requirements for computing power, memory, mass storage, network functions, redundancy, energy efficiency, as well as hardware and firmware management defined in the specification. The software components must cover functions for virtualization, infrastructure management, monitoring, replication, automation, and self-service provision. In addition, services for assembly, cabling, configuration of the clusters, integration into the existing IT environment, setting up the management environment, and exemplary migration of selected virtual machines must be provided. The systems must meet all the requirements for operational reliability, standards, interfaces, sustainability, support, and expandability specified in the specification.
