Description:
The City of Turku invites companies to a market dialogue webinar to discuss the upcoming procurement for an energy consumption monitoring service, aiming to gather insights on service availability and requirements.

YOU CAN STILL INFLUENCE DURING THE MARKET SURVEY PHASE!

At the City of Turku, we want to make high-quality procurements and collaborate with companies. Therefore, we are conducting a market survey before publishing the actual procurement notice. The aim is to inform about the upcoming competition, map the market for the procurement target, and gather comprehensive information about service availability, implementation possibilities, and potential suppliers. We will also request comments from suppliers participating in the market dialogue regarding the minimum requirements and quality criteria for the procurement documents. The market dialogue also aims to review the timing and implementation of the upcoming competition.

This is an invitation to the market dialogue concerning the City of Turku’s planned energy consumption monitoring service. The City of Turku monitors energy consumption in approximately 600 buildings, of which more than 200 have district heating. A measurement center, which provides more detailed consumption data, is located in about 70 buildings.

The goal is to create a digital service that produces energy consumption monitoring, automating the expert’s manual tasks by producing as much refined information as possible about consumption changes, with easy-to-understand views, explanations, and follow-up actions.

The aim is to make consumption monitoring as automated as possible by reducing manual work phases, such as determining the start time, occurrence, and overall effects of increased consumption. The user should automatically see prioritized key observations and easily access analysis of the observation.

The market dialogue will be held as a webinar on Teams on October 2 from 9:00 to 11:00.

Event schedule:

9:00–10:00 Introduction to the competition
10:00–11:00 Questions, answers, and discussion

You are warmly welcome!

This notice is not a procurement announcement nor a call for tenders, but an invitation to a market dialogue aimed at mapping the market and developing the procurement competition documents. The invitation does not bind those who respond.

Not participating in the market dialogue event does not prevent participation in the possible tender competition, nor does participation affect the supplier’s position in the actual competition. The contracting authority does not commit to making the procurement based on the market survey, and the descriptions/specifications presented do not bind the client.

We will announce our upcoming procurements on the Hilma planning tool, where you can set up search alerts. Hilma planning tool
