The environmental site for the treatment of wastewater in Thionville is operated under a public service delegation by VEOLIA until December 31, 2030. It is designed for a nominal capacity of 80,000 EH and treats the effluents from the municipalities of Basse-Ham, Kuntzig, Manom, Terville, Thionville, and Yutz. While evolving its treatment capacity to 100,000 EH, Thionville Fensch Agglomeration is considering a methanization solution to improve the recovery of the sludge produced by the plant, while injecting biomethane into the GRDF network. The wastewater treatment facility cannot be stopped. Treatment continuity must be ensured at all times. The Technical Assistance to Project Management (ATMO) consists of 5 phases: Phase 1: Assimilation of preliminary studies and establishment of pre-programs; Phase 2: Assistance for obtaining administrative authorizations; Phase 3: Programming; Phase 4: Preparation and awarding of contracts; Phase 5: Assistance within the framework of a design-build type contract. The details of the missions by phase of the operation are included in the specifications.
