The purpose of the contract - lasting 5 years, renewable for 1 year - is to carry out monitoring of water quality downstream, monitoring of greenhouse gases upstream of the dam, as well as biological monitoring of water at the foot of the Petit Saut dam of EDF in Guyane.

Ecological Monitoring of the Petit Saut Dam - EDF SEI Guyane.
This contract aims to carry out monitoring of water quality downstream, monitoring of greenhouse gases upstream of the dam, as well as biological monitoring of water at the foot of the dam. The present contract must ensure compliance with a regulatory monitoring program (Decree of May 11, 1989) which consists of verifying adherence to physicochemical parameters and more generally ensuring the good ecological quality of the downstream area of the development. The decree imposes monthly provisions to be respected; however, the Contractor must also measure daily levels of oxygen, temperature, and other parameters described in the Specifications. One point of attention, the contractor must also ensure the maintenance of equipment: operate connection cables, spare parts for probes, maintenance services as well as various repairs. The present contract will ensure ecological monitoring starting from September 2026, for a duration of 5 firm years + 1 optional year.
