Background
The development of AI in social and healthcare in Finland has been promoted within the national SOTE AI ecosystem, where DigiFinland acts as a key coordinating actor. Based on AI trials conducted in well-being regions within the ecosystem, the most impactful use cases have been identified, and experiences of their application in practical customer and patient work have been collected. Based on these results, use cases with good potential for large-scale implementation have been prioritized. Among these, real-time AI-assisted interpretation has been identified. DigiFinland is now launching a new implementation phase in cooperation with Sitra, where the adoption of solutions developed in trials will be expanded to well-being areas.
This market dialogue is part of this implementation work, and its aim is to map AI-based interpretation solutions available in the market and to form a comprehensive picture of the applicability of these solutions for social and healthcare use in Finland.
