Description:
The procurement involves supplying various robotic platforms and accessories essential for testing and validating autonomous navigation algorithms in urban environments as part of the PABLO project.

DOTLUMEN S.R.L. organizes the procurement procedure for the supply of Robot Kits to equip the research team with the necessary robotic platforms for testing and validating pedestrian autonomous navigation algorithms (PAD AI) in real urban environments. Achieving the targeted research and development objectives in the PABLO project necessarily requires the physical availability of the robotic platforms on which the algorithms will be run, tested, and validated, both in simulation environments and in real-world conditions.

The purchased robotic platforms will advance the technological readiness level (TRL) of the solution from TRL4 (validated in the laboratory) to TRL7-8 (demonstrated system in real operational conditions), thus constituting a necessary and irreplaceable condition for achieving the performance indicators of the project.

The object of this public procurement contract consists of the supply, DDP transportation to the beneficiary's location, and functional verification of the following robotic platforms and related accessories, under the PABLO project:

o Biped robot (humanoid) – 1 unit, with a computing module compatible with NVIDIA Jetson AGX Thor or equivalent, and included robotic hands;
o Additional battery for biped robot – 1 unit;
o Quadruped robot – Unitree B2W or equivalent – 2 units, with LIDAR included in the standard configuration, minimum protection degree IP67 and additional interchangeable battery included per unit;
o Robotic arm for quadruped robot – Unitree Z1 Pro or equivalent – 1 unit, with a minimum reach of 740 mm;
– Technical documentation, SDK/API interfaces, and transfer of technical knowledge.

The purchased robotic platforms will be used exclusively for testing and validating the PAD AI (Pedestrian Autonomous Driving AI) algorithms developed by the PABLO consortium within research and development activities. The contract includes the functional verification of each platform upon delivery and the transfer of technical knowledge regarding the system operation.

The robotic platforms, together with the PAD AI software infrastructure, directly contribute to achieving the specific objective of the project and fulfilling the general objective, namely creating an efficient, sustainable, and automated system of autonomous logistics robots for urban last-mile delivery of products, capable of reducing operational costs, optimizing delivery times, and minimizing environmental impact.
