Dumfries and Galloway Council is progressing the development of the Stranraer Marina Project, a significant investment intended to strengthen Stranraer's position as a destination for recreational boating, tourism, coastal leisure and wider economic growth.
The Council is seeking to engage with suitably experienced suppliers capable of supporting the development of a compelling marina brand, vision and communications platform that will help establish the marina's identity prior to opening and support future marketing, investment and visitor attraction activities.
This Prior Information Notice is being issued to inform the market of an upcoming procurement opportunity and to invite expressions of interest from organisations with relevant experience and capability.
The scope would include:
Development of the marina brand and market positioning;
Creation of a compelling vision and narrative for stakeholders, investors and the wider community;
Visual identity development and supporting brand assets;
Production of promotional and stakeholder materials;
Development of a mobile-friendly website and digital presence;
Recommendations for brand rollout, signage and visitor experience;
Ongoing community and stakeholder engagement in alignment with wider project activities and social value commitments.
