Tenderlake’s advanced search helps you create more specific and complex alerts that finds all the tender opportunities and contract notices you are looking for – without false positives.
With advanced search you can search as follows:
|
Search element |
Example(s) |
|
Phrases. With advanced search, multiple words must always be
enclosed in quotation marks. |
"cyber security" "endpoint security" |
|
Logical operators OR, AND |
"Cyber security" OR "endpoint security" "Cyber security" AND "endpoint security" |
|
Brackets – () Multiple levels allowed |
("Cyber" OR "Endpoint") AND "Security" |
|
Wildcard - * Must be enclosed in “” |
"purif*" Searches for purify, purified, purifying, etc. "universit*" Searches for university, universities, etc. |
|
Near operator | near(("asset*","manage*"),7,false) Identifies any procurement notices that have the words "asset*" and "manage*" inside 7 words of each other. The false setting means that the order in which the two words appear, can be different than the order in which they are listed inside the near-operator. This search will not only catch "asset management", but also "a system to manage our assets" and similar.
|
All the search elements can be combined so the following are allowed examples:
("purify*" AND ("water" OR "protein")) OR "protein crystallisation"
"cyber security" OR ("security" AND "endpoint*") OR "intrusion detection" OR "intrusion prevention"
Advanced search can be combined with all the other search features such as CPV Codes, Performance Location and so on.
Examples:
- To search for contracts across the EEA for supplying Microsoft products, simply select the relevant countries in the Performance Location box and use the advanced query "sql server" or "sqlserver" or "office 365" or "office365" or "microsoft azure" or "microsoft team*" or "sharepoint" or "windows server" or "active directory" or "microsoft exchange" or "mail flow"
- To search for thermal camera contracts across the EEA, select the relevant countries and use the advanced query "thermal camera*" or "thermal imag*" or "hyperspectral"
Please get in touch if you have any questions, feedback or need help to formulate your advanced queries.
1/ Be aware that if you copy/paste search phrases from other applications, for example Microsoft Word, the quotation marks may be different that what advanced search requires. It is safer to enter the search query directly in the search-box than pasting.
2/ If your advanced search is not correctly formatted, Tenderlake will inform you and execute it as standard search.
