United Utilities seeks to standardize final effluent monitoring stations as part of its Project Blueprint program, focusing on efficient design and delivery of wastewater treatment monitoring equipment to meet new regulatory consents.
United Utilities require the standardisation of the final effluent monitoring stations as part of UU's Project Blueprint programme. Project Blueprint is UU's strategic standardisation programme, focused on creating and deploying standardised assets, systems and solutions across the business. By adopting an industrialised approach to the design, procurement and delivery of assets, Blueprint aims to reduce engineering and commercial effort, improve delivery efficiency, lower whole-life costs and carbon emissions, and enhance operational consistency. All wastewater treatment works require final effluent monitoring. As part of AMP8 we have a large number of sites picking up numeric and phosphorous consents for the first time. Due to these 'first time' and additional consent projects are also coupled with a need to replace/update existing sites monitoring equipment sample systems are required for wastewater. Scope; To provide packaged final effluent monitoring stations using UU Framework Instruments. Instruments/displays are required to be mounted within a GRP kiosk on a suitable backboard arrangement. Variants include but are not limited to; To cover 'standard' sanitary determinants using turbidity (BOD, COD, Suspended Solids) To cover Ammonia & pH To cover p-removal - phosphorous (P and Fe), with space to add pH as an option
