The qualification scheme concerns construction and civil engineering works related to the establishment and expansion of gas return facilities, compressor stations, and M/R stations. The procurements are not limited to, but are primarily expected to be carried out in connection with the projects under the Fast Track Biogas project by Energinet. The qualification scheme consists of one category.
Geographically, the projects may be located anywhere in Denmark.
The contracting authority plans to establish several gas facilities within a short number of years, which will enable the transfer of gas from Evida's distribution network to the contracting authority's transmission network. The Fast Track Biogas project therefore includes the establishment of at least six (6) gas return facilities and one (1) M/R station, distributed geographically in Denmark. The individual stations are mutually independent and are expected to be constructed serially by the contracting authority.
The initial call under the qualification scheme is expected to encompass the establishment of the first return facility in Bellinge, 5250 Odense.
Depending on the progress of the projects, the remaining calls on the qualification scheme for Fast Track Biogas are expected to be made continuously and presumably no later than in 2027. The need for the individual facilities and their geographical location is determined based on system analyses of Evida's distribution network. The analyses are based on a number of assumptions, prerequisites, and are therefore subject to a certain degree of uncertainty. The number of facilities may therefore change, and there may arise a need for both additional stations and expansions of those already planned. Furthermore, the projects may vary in both size and complexity.
The qualification scheme includes projects that require experience in planning, coordination, and execution of earth and excavation works as well as execution of specialized technical works of high complexity. The works will be carried out in the form of main contracts.
Depending on the scope and complexity of the projects, they may include a number of larger client deliveries, such as compressor modules, deodorization plants, measurement containers, and M/R modules, where the main contractor will be responsible for carrying out the necessary preparatory and finishing works. It should be noted that the projects may vary in size and technical complexity.
