Novacode Spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością has gone to market for a digital platform that uses artificial intelligence to analyse Big Data from production resources. The contract, published on 5th October 2026, calls for real-time visualisation, data collection and scenario configuration to optimise machine efficiency. The move highlights how AI-enabled analytics are now reaching directly into the factory floor, mirroring a broader shift in recent European procurements towards platforms that turn operational data into day-to-day decisions.

What the platform is meant to do

According to the contract notice, Novacode is seeking a digital platform for analysing Big Data generated by production resources, underpinned by AI algorithms. The platform must not only collect large volumes of machine data, but also present it in real time and support configurable scenarios aimed at improving how machines perform. In effect, the buyer wants a single environment where data, analytics and operational choices come together.

The functional core of the planned system can be read in four elements the notice singles out:

  • data collection from production resources,
  • AI-driven analysis of that Big Data,
  • real-time visualisation of results, and
  • scenario configuration to optimise machine efficiency.

Bringing these together in one platform signals a move away from isolated monitoring tools towards an integrated view of production. Real-time visualisation is intended to give operators and managers immediate insight into how machines are behaving. AI algorithms promise to uncover patterns and relationships in the data that would be hard to see manually. Scenario configuration suggests the buyer wants the ability to test and adjust operating conditions in a structured way, with the effect on efficiency visible through the same platform.

Although the brief description leaves many implementation details open, the combination of Big Data, AI analysis and configurable scenarios points towards a system designed to support continuous optimisation of production resources. Rather than treating data as a by-product, the platform is meant to turn it into the basis for managing how machines are used.

Industrial AI and the push towards Industry 4.0

The Novacode tender sits squarely within a cluster of recent procurements that link industrial processes to AI and advanced analytics. In September 2026, C2C Sp. z o.o. launched a contract for an IIoT system to support robotisation, combining real-time data collection, edge processing and advanced cloud analysis. Like Novacode, C2C also wants dedicated user panels for monitoring and managing production, underscoring how visual interfaces are becoming as important as the underlying data pipeline.

In October 2026, AZA-TECH Spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością issued a notice for an ERP-type IT system with SCADA modules for warehouse automation and quality control, bundled with IT training and consulting to support a transition to Industry 4.0. Here, as in the Novacode tender, the emphasis is on integrating operational technology with higher-level management systems, so that data flows from sensors through to planning and oversight.

Environmental and sustainability expectations are also entering this space. On 18th September 2026, Firma KEN Sp. z o. o. sought software for digital management of the production process, with explicit requirements for environmental sustainability alongside technical specifications. While Novacode’s notice focuses on machine efficiency, it appears as part of a wave of procurements that link digital transformation with broader performance goals, including quality, automation and environmental impact.

Digital transformation is not confined to traditional manufacturing. On 21st September 2026, Cereclab Sp. z o.o. launched a contract for the implementation of an integrated IT system to enhance operational and business processes in a computer prosthetics laboratory. This underlines that the drive to harness operational data is spreading across very different types of production environments.

From single tools to full AI platforms

The Novacode requirement for a platform, rather than a single-purpose application, also tracks a wider pivot towards multi-function AI environments. On 7th October 2026, Realstream Spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością advertised the creation of the RealStream Platform, a tool for remote property evaluation that blends live streaming, environmental measurements and AI analysis. The planned platform includes modules for noise measurement, communication, authentication and risk analysis, echoing Novacode’s interest in bringing varied data and functions under one roof.

Two days later, on 9th October 2026, WEBSENSA Spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością went to market for an advanced analytic-general platform supporting real-time voice dialogues, multimodal functions and a range of analytical tools. Requirements in that notice cover AI models, service provision and accessibility features, illustrating how platform procurements are becoming more prescriptive about both technical capabilities and how users will work with them.

Infrastructure-focused buyers are moving in the same direction. On 21st July 2026, Naukowa i Akademicka Sieć Komputerowa - Państwowy Instytut Badawczy sought to expand its data storage platform through a contract for a virtualisation cluster and AI work platform, including server hardware and network equipment and subject to defined cybersecurity and origin restrictions. Here, the AI work platform is treated as critical infrastructure with clear security expectations.

The energy sector offers another example. On 28th July 2026, DISTRIBUTIE ENERGIE OLTENIA S.A. launched a tender for an Advanced Analytics Platform to support data processing for over 1.5 million consumption locations, covering design, installation, integration, testing, training and ongoing support. While Novacode’s procurement focuses on machine efficiency within a single organisation, it shares this emphasis on a full lifecycle approach to analytics platforms.

Public services embrace AI for operations and service delivery

Beyond industry and infrastructure, public authorities are also commissioning AI platforms that manage complex operational data. In May 2026, Statutární město Brno published a contract notice for an AI platform for managing AI agents and automated workflows. The project covers a multi-agent AI platform integrating public communication and internal automation processes, deploying chatbots and AI agents with an emphasis on scalability and high service availability.

City administrations are also turning to AI to improve digital channels. On 3rd September 2026, Miasto Bielsko-Biała Urząd Miejski w Bielsku-Białej advertised a project to design, implement and deploy AI-based Chatbot and Voicebot systems, alongside restructuring the main city portal into a multisite architecture and a potential revamp of the City Council portal. As with Novacode’s focus on real-time machine data, the city is seeking to weave AI into the core of how services are accessed and managed.

Security and risk management are another strand. On 15th September 2026, the State Agency for National Security issued a contract for the delivery, installation, integration and maintenance of a complex artificial intelligence system. The aim is to enhance technological and analytical capabilities, ensure secure data processing and automate analysis and risk assessment. Although the context is national security rather than production, the pattern is familiar: consolidating data, analytics and operational response in one AI-enabled environment.

Healthcare bodies are also procuring AI platforms in ways that echo the Novacode brief. On 12th May 2026, the Regionalny Szpital Specjalistyczny im. dr Władysława Biegańskiego in Grudziądz sought a comprehensive AI/ML platform to support medical and managerial processes, including user training and technical support. On 1st June 2026, Wojewódzki Szpital Zespolony w Kielcach published a tender to integrate systems with the national Intelligent Services Platform to strengthen AI support in diagnostic and therapeutic decisions. On 17th August 2026, Spitalul de Boli Infectioase si Tropicale 'Dr. Victor Babes' advertised an AI-based software platform for antibiotic management. And on 9th October 2026, Smarter Diagnostics sp. z o.o. sought cloud infrastructure and tools for managing medical data within the SmarterKneeMRI project.

Other procurements underline how skills and specialist expertise are being bought alongside platforms. On 30th September 2026, Akademia WSB sought a provider for training on implementing projects financed from public funds using AI. On 5th October 2026, INCUBLY.HUB Spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością advertised research and development services from an ML/AI expert for automatic diagnosis of gambling addiction risk, while AI Investments Spółka z Ograniczoną Odpowiedzialnością issued a September 2026 tender for evaluation and testing of machine learning models for the GUARD project. Together, these show that buyers are not only acquiring platforms but also the expertise needed to build, validate and use them.

What to watch in the Novacode tender

Against this backdrop, Novacode’s digital platform for Big Data analysis stands out for its clear operational focus: optimising machine efficiency through AI, in real time. Potential suppliers will need to demonstrate they can handle large volumes of production data, apply AI algorithms meaningfully to that data and present the results in ways that support scenario-based decision-making on the shop floor.

Similar procurements suggest that integration with existing systems, performance at scale and user adoption are likely to be critical themes as the project progresses. As more organisations across sectors commission AI platforms for operational data, from robotised production lines to city portals and hospital processes, the Novacode tender will be one to watch for how effectively industrial Big Data can be turned into day-to-day gains in machine efficiency.
