The subject of the public procurement contract within this procurement procedure is the implementation of the project named “Implementation of Telematic Elements in Plzeň” according to the project documentation “Implementation of Telematic Systems within Traffic Signal Control in Plzeň,” including the list of works and a summary, contract number Z2023-037, prepared in 09/2023 by the company ALMAPRO, s.r.o., Průběžná 1108/77, 100 00 Prague 10, ID: 24150134.
The purpose of the supply is to place new strategic detectors at selected locations as determined by the contracting authority (a total of 27 new strategic detectors) on the access roads to the city, which will detect vehicles upon entering and exiting the city. Additionally, it involves supplementing RSU (road side unit) units and video detectors for detecting two-wheeled vehicles at the entrances to intersections and for detecting vehicles exiting intersections. The specified technology is supplemented at 75 specific intersections controlled by traffic signaling devices (SSZ). An integral part of the project is the addition of the INTIQ back office owned by the contracting authority, operated by the Administration of Information Technologies of the City of Plzeň to ensure the required functions of the RSU units.
This project includes mainly the following partial activities:
1. Purchase of necessary materials required to carry out the work.
2. Installation and commissioning of the newly installed traffic signal technology.
3. Bringing into operational status including public transport preference and connecting the newly installed technology to the traffic control center.
