Saint-Étienne Métropole has begun replacing its diesel bus fleet with electric buses. The commissioning of this new technology requires the deployment of a dedicated charging infrastructure. This infrastructure will be implemented at the TRANSPOLE site for storing and maintaining the operator's buses, located at 1 Av. Pierre Mendès France, in Saint-Priest-en-Jarez (42), as well as at the storage site located on Rue de la Constituante, in Saint-Chamond. The operator is represented by STAS within the framework of the current DSP which ends in 2031. The project aims, eventually, to establish 73 charging points for medium-capacity electric buses of 10m, standard buses of 12m, and articulated buses of 18m at the Transpole depot, and 20 charging points for standard buses of 12m in Saint-Chamond. The estimated necessary charging power, excluding smartcharging, is approximately 3200 kVA at TRANSPOLE and 800 kVA at Saint Chamond. The deployment of chargers is planned progressively as the vehicles arrive at the two depots, from November 2027 to 2035. The solution provided under this contract must ultimately manage all charging equipment at both depots.
The framework agreement will be concluded with no minimum amount and a maximum amount, single-awarded, based on purchase orders and subsequent contracts.
This consultation includes environmental execution conditions, the details of which are indicated in the CCAP and in the consultation regulations during the offer phase.
