The European Archiving System for forged and genuine documents on the internet (FADO) was established by the Joint Action 98/700/JHA of the Council within the framework of the Council’s JHA. The system facilitates the exchange of information about genuine documents and known forgery methods and enables electronic storage, rapid exchange, and validation of such information. Frontex will implement and operate the new FADO system.
— Lot 1: Development of the EBCG False and Authentic Document Online system – (EBCG FADO system), which allows users to access and use it, including services related to application design, development, testing, deployment, data migration from the current system, training of users and administrators, and system maintenance;
— Lot 2: Ensuring timely fulfillment of the contracting authority’s quality requirements, delivery, and transition to the production state of the FADO system by supporting and advising the contracting authority in the execution of Lot 1.
