The European Image Archiving System on False and Authentic Documents Online (‘FADO’) was established by Council Joint Action 98/700/JHA within the GS of the Council. The system facilitates the exchange of information on authentic documents and on known methods of falsification and provides for the electronic storage, rapid exchange, and validation of such information. FRONTEX shall introduce and operate new FADO system.

— Lot 1: development of EBCG False and Authentic Document Online – (EBCG FADO system), that will enable users access and usage including deliverables related to application design, development, testing, deployment, data migration from the current system, training for users and administrators, and system maintenance;

— Lot 2: ensure of timely and meeting quality requirements of the contracting authority, delivery and transition into production state of FADO system by means of providing assistance and consultancy to contracting authority regarding execution of lot 1.
