The project aims to generate profits through battery marketing while simultaneously or flexibly utilizing several electricity markets (regulation energy market, spot market). Modern grid-forming inverters are planned, which will also be capable of serving future markets, such as the instantaneous reserve market or the capacity market, and behave in a grid-supportive manner.
The battery storage system shall be installed on the premises of Stadtwerke Rostock AG, Schmarler Damm 5, 18069 Rostock.
