A measurement network central system (including hardware and software) is being procured, which is fully operational and allows for data processing according to the criteria of the currently valid air quality directive (EC/80/2008), as well as its implementation in German law (39. BImSchV) and the future EU air quality directive to be adopted in 2024. The software must also be applicable to the criteria of the newly adopted EU air quality directive (2024/2881). The system is to be designed to be operational for the next 10 years, meaning regular updates must be provided. The requirements for the new system can be found in the accompanying document performance description.

Furthermore, data collection at the measurement stations and the aforementioned laboratories is also to be offered (requirements for this are also in the performance description document). This is an option and it is not guaranteed that this will be taken up.

The delivery location is the Institute for Hygiene and Environment. Delivery, installation, and commissioning of the hardware and software must be carried out on-site.
