1. The Municipal Transport Company of Esslingen (SVE) intends to procure and establish charging infrastructure for charging battery-powered trolleybuses. The background is the reliable operation of the existing and future vehicle fleet.
2. The charging infrastructure is to be realized at two locations of the contracting authority: a) at the main depot located at Heilbronner Straße 70, 73728 Esslingen am Neckar b) at a secondary location at Stettener Straße 135, 73732 Esslingen am Neckar
3. In addition to the actual charging technology, the project also includes measures to expand or adapt the existing power supply infrastructure at both locations. The scope of delivery of the contractor extends continuously from the respective connection point to the entire electrical infrastructure (including transformation, switching, protection, and distribution technology as well as the necessary cabling) all the way to the charging technology and its interface to the vehicle contact system, ensuring the complete functional chain of energy transmission to the vehicle is established and ready for operation.
4. In addition to the supply and installation of the charging infrastructure as well as the expansion of the existing power supply infrastructure, a multi-year maintenance contract (full-service contract) should also be offered as a delivery option.
