Description:
The contract involves expanding the remote reading system for water meters by implementing an IoT-based solution that enables automatic data collection, including the installation of communication infrastructure and ongoing technical support.

The subject of this contract is the expansion of the remote reading system (System) of Water Meters functioning at the Ordering Party, including the creation, implementation, and operation of a stationary reading System based on Internet of Things (IoT) technology, utilizing radio communication techniques using LoRaWAN, LTE Cat-M, NB-IoT, or equivalent transmissions.
The aim of the order is to modernize and develop the existing System, which currently consists of the Temetra application platform and about 2,100 radio modules installed on Water Meters, from which data is read in a 'manual' manner.
As a result of the execution of this contract, a stationary reading System will be created that will ensure automatic, continuous, and unattended reading of data from Water Meters based on IoT communication, integrated with the existing Temetra application platform.
The designed reading System will specifically include:
• the construction and commissioning of a LoRaWAN/LTE/NB-IoT communication infrastructure (including communication gateways, antennas, network, and application servers),
• configuration, integration, and implementation of the System in the Ordering Party's environment,
• delivery and installation of 18,000 IoT radio modules during the term of the Agreement,
• delivery and adaptation to the Ordering Party's needs of 15 devices for configuring IoT radio modules, necessary for the proper functioning of the reading System,
• commissioning of the reading System and ensuring data transmission throughout the Ordering Party's operational area,
• provision of ongoing technical support, maintenance, and monitoring of the System, including the provision of services in accordance with the required supervision and service level agreement (SLA),
• transmission of data from the Water Meters and forwarding data from the reading System to the Ordering Party's computer system, especially to the application platform,
• training of the Ordering Party's employees in operating the System,
• delivery of complete technical documentation, as-built documentation, and user instructions.
The number of IoT radio modules to be connected in the individual years of the term of the Agreement will be specified by the Ordering Party in the Schedule and Delivery Plan.
The work carried out under this contract will be divided into individual tasks, which together constitute one undertaking and are not separate orders.
The reading System is to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient management of measurement data in the Ordering Party's water supply network, with the possibility of further expansion and integration with other IT systems.
