The achievement of the investment objective will be done in accordance with the specifications for design, equipment/products delivery, execution, and service provision, at the level of current technology, with the aim of significantly improving operational indicators by reducing energy costs necessary for internal services in electricity transport stations and will contribute directly to achieving the decarbonization targets of the economy through renewable energies.
Starting from the "Do No Significant Harm" (DNSH) analysis submitted to obtain funding through PNRR, REPowerEU Component, throughout the implementation period and in all stages of the project, the principle of "not significantly harming" any of the six environmental objectives must be respected. Thus:
• For the design phases, it is necessary to properly address and ensure compliance of the investment with the principle of "not significantly harming" (DNSH - "Do No Significant Harm"), in accordance with the Commission's Communication - Technical guidelines on the application of the principle of "not significantly harming" under the Regulation regarding the Recovery and Resilience Mechanism (2021/C 58/01) and with the Commission's delegated Regulation (EU) [C (2021) 2800/3], under the Regulation on taxonomy (EU) (2020/852).
• For the supply of equipment/installations and execution of works, it is necessary to include the contractor's obligation to comply with the measures established in the previous design phase (Feasibility Study) and to properly ensure the investment's compliance with the principle of "not significantly harming" (DNSH - "Do No Significant Harm").
The achievement of the investment objective will lead to reducing the unavailability of SEN/RET by decreasing intervention times and the unavailability of equipment from RET, reducing risks of cyberattacks, and ensuring conditions for optimal functioning of internal services.
