The object of the Contract resulting from this procedure: "Supply of equipment, installation, commissioning, and execution of works for TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT COMPONENT (SYSTEM) – Lot 3" within the project "INCREASING URBAN MOBILITY THROUGH INTEGRATED INVESTMENTS IN PUBLIC TRANSPORT INFRASTRUCTURE FOR REDUCING GHG EMISSIONS" - TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT COMPONENT AND GIVING PRIORITY TO PUBLIC TRANSPORT VEHICLES AT SIGNALIZED LOCATIONS.
Supply of equipment and execution of works will be carried out according to the technical project documentation.

Cap. 4 Expenses for the basic investment in the amount of 2,090,773.37, of which: Cap. 4.1 Construction and installations: 694,829.27 lei without VAT; Cap. 4.2 Installation of machinery, technological, and functional equipment: 27,098.07 lei without VAT; Cap. 4.3 Machinery, technological, and functional equipment requiring installation: 1,368,846.03 lei without VAT.
Duration of the procurement contract: 4 months from the date mentioned in the Start Order, with the possibility of extension, in well-founded and proven cases, according to the updated execution schedule and by concluding an additional act.

In order to implement the Traffic Management System, as well as to increase the prioritization level for public transport vehicles and for pedestrians, this project provides for the modernization and establishment of new traffic light installations for the following intersections/pedestrian crossings:
- Intersection Str. Focsani – Bd. Eroilor – Sos. Podgoriei;
- Pedestrian crossing at the intersection Str. AI Cuza – 22 Decembrie;
- Intersection Str. M Kogalniceanu – Str. Toamnei – Str. Patriei;
- Pedestrian crossing at the intersection Str. Toamnei – Str. Pietei;
- Intersection Str. C. Brancoveanu – Str. Primaverii – Str. Toamnei;
- Pedestrian crossing at the intersection Str. Primaverii – Str. Victoriei;
- Pedestrian crossing at the intersection Str. C. Brancoveanu – Str. Avantului;
- Pedestrian crossing at the intersection Str. C. Brancoveanu – Str. Margaritarului;
- Intersection Str. C. Brancoveanu – Str. M. Eminescu;
The proposed solution considers the supply of equipment and execution of necessary works for the implementation of the traffic management system at the intersections identified in the existing Technical Project.
In order to establish a Traffic Management System in the Municipality of Ramnicu Sarat, this project foresees the realization of the following works and the introduction of the following subsystems:
- Replacement of existing simple traffic light poles and console, and installation of new traffic light poles with the corresponding foundations as per the provisions in the layout plans;
- Establishment of underground wiring for traffic lights as per the provisions in the layout plan;
- Installation of the necessary electrical cables to connect the equipment;
- Installation and configuration of 9 traffic control machines at the intersections proposed to be signaled;
- Establishment of foundations and cabinets where the traffic control machines and related subsystems equipment will be installed as specified in the layout plan;
- Establishment of grounding connections with a resistance less than 4 ohms at the 9 specified cabinets;
- Installation of vehicle traffic lights, pedestrian lights, intermittent green for right turns, and intermittent yellow for pedestrians according to the provisions of the layout plan;
- Installation of acoustic devices for visually impaired people;
- Installation and configuration of traffic detection cameras and their management system;
- Installation and configuration of communication equipment - Switches;
- Installation and configuration of software platforms in field equipment;
- Configuration of all equipment in the traffic light system in the centralized traffic management system.
