The Commissioners of Public Works in Ireland seek Engineering Consultancies to develop feasibility studies and conceptual designs focused on decarbonisation solutions, including a geothermal study at the Garda Headquarters Complex, to support their Climate Action Plan.

As part of our decarbonisation strategy, the Commissioners of Public Works in Ireland (OPW) propose to procure competent Engineering Consultancies with particular capacity, capability and experience around Energy and Sustainability solutions, to develop feasibility studies complete with Options Appraisals on defossilisation together with conceptual designs for a select number of buildings. This is in order to work towards pathways and solutions for our Climate Action Plan (CAP) action targets in relation to decarbonisation and fossil fuel reduction. The studies will be part of a wider exercise around our potential pathways for defossilistion of our building stock.
