Construction and operation of an Application Center (AZ) in the field of artificial intelligence for municipal solutions (KI4KL).
The subject of this tender is the establishment and operation of the "Application Center Artificial Intelligence for Municipal Solutions (KI4KL)" in the city of Gelsenkirchen with the aim of tapping the potential of AI research and development for applications in public administration and municipal companies and sustainably positioning smart city applications in the economic and ecological transformation process. The focus is on all services of general interest such as public transport services, energy and water supply, climate protection and climate adaptation, sustainably optimised provision of municipal services in order to generate more innovations and solutions for municipal challenges in connection with e.g. climate change, demographic change, labour shortages, digitalisation and to strengthen growth potential. In this way, the AZ is intended to support the transfer of knowledge and technology in municipalities, the municipal economy and society.
