Transport for West Midlands is launching a program to deploy Cooperative Intelligent Transport Systems aimed at creating a scalable, data-driven transport management ecosystem for current and future needs.
Transport for West Midlands (TfWM), as the executive transport body of the West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA) is embarking on a transformational program to deploy Cooperative Intelligent Transport Systems (C-ITS) across the region. The project seeks to address the deployment of four integrated C-ITS components that collectively establish a scalable, data-driven transport management ecosystem capable of meeting current demands while providing the foundation for future regional expansion. This procurement represents the foundational phase of a strategic initiative for a digital transport infrastructure.
