Description:
Services are sought for the construction and optional maintenance of a battery storage system, including the delivery and installation of medium-voltage systems, overall control coordination, and fire protection measures in proximity to a PV ground-mounted park.

The Versorgungsbetriebe Bordesholm GmbH intends to award services for the construction and later (optional) maintenance of a battery storage system through a negotiation process with a competitive tender. The award will occur in 4 lots. The subject of this lot 3 is the delivery, installation, commissioning, and optional maintenance of two 20 kV medium-voltage systems/transfer stations for the battery storage and the adjacent PV ground-mounted park, including the respective buildings/containers/pre-fabricated stations and all necessary interfaces for the battery storage & PV ground-mounted park, optional accessories, the overall control of the battery storage (in cooperation with the control of RESolve, interface to the BMS of RESolve: MODBUS TCP/IP), the assumption of client and project coordination responsibilities, the onboarding of the SiGeKo (Safety & Health Protection Coordinator) for all 4 lots, and the development, implementation, and coordination of the overall fire protection concept for the entire battery storage, i.e., for all four lots. The battery storage is to be constructed in close proximity to the PV ground-mounted park “Eiderstede” with an installed capacity of 14.236 kWp, optimize the marketing of the electricity from the PV ground-mounted system, and participate in various markets during remaining idle times in a cross-market approach (e.g., during winter months and night hours). The battery storage is to be equipped with 3 line-ups with 2-3 units of 20-foot containers, each with approx. 5 MWh of battery capacity and a minimum power requirement per container of 2.3 MVA. The exact number of containers per line-up (2 or 3 units) will depend on the most competitive offer for Lot 1. The battery storage will be located at the existing grid connection cable of the PV ground-mounted park. The maximum permissible power at the grid connection point is 12.3 MW. This maximum permissible power at the grid connection point must not be exceeded. This will be ensured in operation by having the new battery storage marketed and controlled in conjunction with an existing battery storage (currently approx.: 15 MW & 14.2 MWh) that is already present at the Versorgungsbetriebe. This control and marketing will also include the respective transfer measurement from the PV ground-mounted system “Eiderstede” and the handover to the upstream grid operator SH Netz AG.
