The Pinneberg District Transport Company (KViP) plans to expand the bus depot in Uetersen as part of the ongoing electrification of the bus fleet. The aim of the measure is to expand the parking areas and the charging infrastructure for electric buses. Currently, a total of 27 new charging points are to be constructed in addition to the existing seven charging points.
New bus parking spaces will be created, and the existing courtyard areas will be partially remodeled. To ensure energy supply, a technical center with a medium-voltage transfer station, transformers, and a low-voltage switchgear will be constructed. The construction and equipment of the energy center as well as the delivery of the charging stations are not part of this tender.
The electrical connection of the charging points will be made via newly laid medium and low voltage cables, as well as control and communication lines which will be routed in an underground supply channel system.
The construction measures advertised here include the following services in particular:
- Expansion and remodeling of traffic and parking areas for buses, including paving work
- Construction of a total of 27 foundations for charging facilities
- Construction of an underground supply channel system for energy and control lines
- Construction and expansion of stormwater drainage, including an underground gutter system for rainwater retention
- New construction and adaptation of street drainage and stormwater pipes
- Construction of foundations for street lighting poles and relocation of existing lights
- Adaptation and coordination of existing supply lines in consultation with the utility companies
- Earthworks for electrotechnical infrastructure
The drainage of the traffic areas will continue to be done in the separation system. To improve rainwater retention, the existing system will be supplemented by an underground gutter system.
The construction execution will take place in several construction phases while the bus depot continues to operate. Bus traffic and operational processes must be maintained throughout the entire construction period, which imposes special requirements on construction logistics, construction organization, and traffic management.
The work must be carried out in accordance with the applicable technical regulations (e.g., VOB, DIN, DWA, RStO).
