The contracting authority offers a Dynamic Procurement System for the purchase of consultancy services related to the National Monitoring Program for Water Environment and Nature (NOVANA).
The procurement system includes 28 categories. Please refer to the specific categories for a detailed description of the categories offered.
A dynamic procurement system is a purchasing method regulated by sections 101 – 108 of the Public Procurement Act.
An economic operator can apply and be admitted to the Procurement System if the applicant meets the minimum requirements for suitability and is not subject to one or more exclusion grounds. Once the applicant is admitted to the Procurement System, they are referred to as a Participant in the Procurement System. An economic operator must be registered as a Participant in the Procurement System in the relevant category in order to be able to submit bids on the Specific purchases that are published via the respective category.
The procurement conditions contain further information about the application for admission to the Procurement System as well as a schedule for the establishment of the Procurement System.
Participants should be aware that admission to the Procurement System is not a guarantee of being awarded contracts in connection with Specific Purchases under the Procurement System.

This category offers tasks related to sorting and species composition of benthic fauna samples. Additionally, the number and biomass of benthic animals are determined.
The benthic fauna samples are collected at open water and fjord stations. The samples have been collected using HAPS bottom grabbers, butter sticks, or Van Veen grabs. The samples have been collected in all types of areas, and they are very diverse regarding salinity, sediment, and visibility.

Marine 2 - Monitoring of macroalgae and hard-bottom fauna.
This category offers tasks related to studies of macroalgae and hard-bottom fauna. The work includes recording of the bottom conditions as well as coverage degrees of attached and drifting macroalgae and associated hard-bottom fauna.
Tasks can be offered in one of the following three ways, which will be detailed in the specific terms for the Specific purchase:
A. The supplier provides diving personnel with equipment, as a supplement to the contracting authority's vessel with other crew. The contracting authority is responsible for processing the material in the laboratory and subsequent entry into the professional database.
B. The supplier carries out a complete task involving macroalgae studies. Macroalgae data are processed in the laboratory and reported in the professional database.
C. The supplier carries out a complete task involving macroalgae studies supplemented with an investigation of hard-bottom fauna conducted by point dives, video documentation, and determinations in the laboratory. Both macroalgae data and hard-bottom fauna data are processed in the laboratory and reported in the professional database.

Tasks can be offered in one of the following two ways, which will be detailed in the specific terms for the specific purchase:
A. The supplier provides diving personnel and/or underwater video equipment, as a supplement to the contracting authority's vessel with other crew. The contracting authority is responsible for subsequent data processing and reporting in the professional database.
B. The supplier conducts the complete survey of eelgrass and other vegetation, and provides diver(s), diving assistant, boat driver, vessel, various equipment, data processing and reporting in the professional database.

Fish surveys in lakes are conducted through net fishing and possibly supplemented with electrofishing and trap fishing. Extraction of fish for analysis for e.g. environmentally hazardous polluted substances (MFS) may also occur. The surveys aim to describe the size and species composition of the fish stock in Danish lakes, so that it can be followed over time in each lake and comparisons can be made across lakes.

Lake 3 - Vegetation and selected species surveys in lakes > 5 ha and small lakes between 1 - 5 ha.
This category offers tasks primarily related to vegetation surveys in fresh and brackish lakes > 5 ha and small lakes between 1 - 5 ha with different depth conditions and varying degrees of plant cover. The surveys are conducted from a boat.
Other species monitoring in lakes may also be offered in this category.
Where there is significant vegetation at depths > 3 m, divers should generally be used for plant registration. Alternatively, an underwater drone (ROV) can be used instead of a diver.
In selected lakes, samples for the determination of benthic diatoms must be collected in connection with the vegetation survey. This will be detailed in the specific terms for the specific purchase.

Lake and Nature 1 - Habitat determination in ponds < 1 ha and habitat mapping for great crested newt and moor frog.
This category offers tasks related to habitat determination in ponds. The work includes vegetation surveys including limnic reed swamp and possibly desiccated lake bed. Based on the observations, a species list for found plant species and an assessment of plant cover degrees are prepared. In addition, a number of supporting parameters are measured and recorded. Based on the results from the vegetation observations and measured parameters, the habitat type is determined according to the technical guidelines below.
In habitat mapping, various parameters that describe the pond and its surroundings' suitability and potential as a habitat for the great crested newt and moor frog are also registered.

In this category, tasks consist of conducting botanical surveys at a number of stations of forest and open light habitat types. In sample areas, identification of all vascular plants and supplementary species identification outside of sample areas are carried out. • Services related to the rental of ships and crew for the collection of marine samples.
• Services related to monitoring tasks within groundwater, e.g., sampling.
• Services related to monitoring tasks within soil, e.g., sampling.
• Services concerning fieldwork at hydrometric stations, e.g., measuring water flow, supervising water level loggers, and taking water samples for chemical analysis.
