This contract is concluded on the basis of section 75(2) of the Danish Health Act.
The contact includes mammaradiological examinations aimed at patients referred from their GP to the Department of Breast Examinations at Gentofte Hospital with symptoms belonging to DBCG's (Danish Breast Cancer Group) priority group 1, 2 and control patients.
The total maximum value of purchases under the framework agreement over 5 years is DKK 250 million ex VAT.
The Capital Region of Denmark offers mammary radiological examinations of DBCG's (Danish Breast Cancer Group) priority groups 1, 2 and control patients.
The Capital Region of Denmark expects to refer approx. 17,000 newly referred patients annually, corresponding to an expected amount of approx. 1400 patients per month. The Capital Region of Denmark expects that in 2024 and onwards, the Department of Breast Examinations will to some extent repatriate patients.
A Provider must be able to take at least 700 newly referred patients per month.
If a Tenderer cannot meet the minimum requirement, it may consider entering into a consortium with other Tenderers.
The contract in the Invitation to tender contains the following essential deadlines:
For DBCG’s prioriteringsgruppe 1:
- The examination should be carried out with the Offeror within 5 calendar days and should be carried out at least within 14 calendar days from the patient being referred to hospital.
For DBCG's patient group 2:
- that patients referred for assessment to the Offeror must be examined within one month from the time the referring entity received the referral, cf. the Danish Health Act §82B.
- that patients referred for treatment by the Offeror must be treated within one month of the date on which the referring entity received a referral or from the time the patient is examined, cf. section 87 of the Danish Health Act.
For control patients (under DBCG's patient group 3):
- Control patients are examined in agreement with the Department of Breast Examinations at Gentofte Hospital. The tenderer must comply with the times according to the specific agreement.
The contract, which will be concluded on the basis of this tender, is intended to be concluded with an expected 2-3 Bidders. The contracting entity thus intends to conclude parallel framework agreements with the 2-3 tenderers submitting the best tenders according to the award criterion of lowest price.
