Standards for Municipal Climate Protection Monitoring.
The Federal Ministry for the Environment, Climate Protection, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMUKN) commissions the demand-oriented further development of the so-called municipal accounting system (“BISKO”) as well as the development of suitable additional standards or procedures for comprehensive municipal climate protection monitoring. Relevant stakeholders are to be involved and the standards subsequently combined into a uniform climate protection monitoring system. Both method papers and information formats for municipalities for publication as well as a knowledge manual for the contractor and specialist support (Federal Environment Agency) are to be developed. The results from these works are to be prepared and communicated for accompanying public relations work.
