The acquisition of four SO2 analyzers, one continuous PM10 and PM2.5 particulate matter analyzer, one low-range NOX analyzer, one BTX analyzer, and two portable calibration systems (calibrator with photometer, ozone generator, and ultrapure zero air generator) is required in order to replace old equipment due to difficulties in finding spare parts that meet the existing air quality regulations. In addition, the renewal of three weather shelters is necessary due to serious structural deficiencies that can cause data to be altered by climate interference in the equipment, and the acquisition of two air conditioning units to replace two units that are not functioning correctly is also required. Additionally, it is necessary to acquire an uninterrupted power supply system (UPS) for the Monfragüe cabin with the dual purpose of protecting the analyzers of the station and allowing power supply in case of system failure for a sufficient time to enable an emergency shutdown of the station.
