The subject of this contract is the implementation of landscaping in selected territories of the city of Sofia. Burgas, according to approved dendrological plans for afforestation and dendrological lists, construction of irrigation systems, as well as measures for interception of vegetation.  The subject of the contract includes the following types of main activities: soil preparation of the terrains subject to landscaping, planting and cultivation of planted vegetation according to an approved specification, grassing and construction of irrigation systems, incl. guarantee maintenance of vegetation during the period of interception. The contract is awarded in connection with the preparation for the implementation of the activities planned within the scope of the project proposal of the Municipality of Burgas for the provision of grants to specific beneficiaries under the Direct Grant Procedure BG1 6FFPR0 02 - 5.003 "Green Measures in the Urban Environment" under Priority 5 "Air" of the Environment Program 2021-2027.
The purpose of the procedure is to contribute to the improvement of ambient air quality (AAQ) by reducing the excessive levels of fine particulate matter (PM10) on the territory of municipalities with impaired air quality according to this indicator in the period 2017-2021.
The planned measures include the implementation of landscaping with tree species and shrub vegetation, as well as grassing, along busy city streets/boulevards; open school areas – municipal property, as well as public public spaces with open access, municipal property, designated for green areas (including city parks, gardens and inter-block spaces). The implementation of the activities in the construction of green infrastructure to reduce secondary spraying should be implemented in accordance with the air quality program in force in the Municipality of Burgas, as well as comply with the documents included in the package "Recommendations for green measures in the urban environment to reduce secondary spraying", published on https://www.eufunds.bg/bg/opos/node/10500, including taking into account the specifics specified in the document. The scope of the commitment also includes the construction of irrigation systems on the terrains intended for landscaping, where applicable, in accordance with Appendix No 5 - the Technical Specification (Appendix No 1 - Table of properties subject to landscaping and afforestation to the Technical Specification).

Implementation of green measures to reduce secondary spraying in urban environments in order to provide cleaner air on the territory of Burgas Municipality.
The main activities included in the subject of the public procurement are landscaping of territories in the town of Shumen. Burgas under approved afforestation plans and dendrological projects, construction of irrigation systems, as well as measures for interception of vegetation. The subject of the activity includes the following types of main activities:
- Soil preparation of the terrains subject to landscaping: Delivery of humus soil for green areas - carried out by mechanized transport with a minimum volume of 4 m3, from a distance of up to 30 km, and the price does not calculate the price of humus. Transfer and spreading of humus soil for green areas - It is carried out manually or mechanized, and the price calculates the modeling and leveling of the terrain.
- Planting and cultivation of planted vegetation: Planting medium-sized conifers with bales (ø0.3-0.6m, tree height 2.00-3.00m), in holes 90/90/90cm, medium soils; Planting medium-sized deciduous trees with bale (ø0.3-0.6m, tree height 2.00-3.00m) 60/60/60, medium soils; Planting ornamental shrubs in 40/40/40 holes in medium soils;
- Grassing and construction of irrigation systems.
The Contracting Authority reserves the right to assign the activities from the subject of the contract if necessary and according to its needs.
