Procurement for an open source searching platform to enhance security measures, support policy development, and manage information for UKAEA, with a potential contract extension based on performance and funding decisions.
To undertake a procurement for companies who are offering open source searching platforms which would enable UKAEA to meet minimum compliance with the Procurement Act 2023, National Security Act 2023, National Security and Investment Act 2021, HM Government functional standard 007-security, information security and personnel security minimum technical security standards in a cost effective and timely manner by enhancing our awareness of security threats and risks and reducing our attack face to such risks.
In addition, it will help form and support UKAEA policy on international cooperation and partnerships with both states and business entities, commercial and procurement activities, managing information about UKAEA in open internet sources as well personnel security and insider risk mitigation, whilst supporting People & Culture Department functions.
It is expected to utilise the resource for approximately 6 months but the initial term will be a period of one year with the option to extend by a further year should this be needed and subject to on-going funding decisions/performance.
