Description:
Radboudumc is seeking equivalent solutions for DNA extraction and real-time PCR to replace current systems while ensuring compatibility with existing workflows and accreditation standards.

Radboudumc is exploring the market for functionally equivalent solutions for DNA extraction and real-time PCR within the molecular diagnostics of medical microbiology. The current workflow includes pipetting robots, extraction equipment, and qPCR instruments, connected via middleware and LIS. The goal is to replace 2 nucleic acid extraction platforms (96-wells) and 4 qPCR analyzers, while maintaining integration within the current molecular diagnostic platform and throughput time. The systems must have a proven track record of at least 5 years in medical microbiological molecular diagnostics in an ISO 15189 accredited laboratory or equivalent accreditation. This also applies to the integration with existing middleware and LIS (AuroraFlow ↔ GLIMS/HL7).
