Scope: Hiring individual consultancy for the provision of data from the bank of degraded areas of federal conservation units on an online platform, via the Sustainable Landscapes of the Amazon Project (ASL Brazil), phase 2.



Objective: Develop and implement an integrated technological solution for ICMBio’s Bank of Degraded Areas, encompassing the analysis and modeling of geospatial data, the creation of a web platform with different access profiles and functionalities for visualization, editing, and automatic updating, as well as integration with mapping systems and institutional tools for information input, aiming to qualify the management and monitoring of degraded areas under the Institute's responsibility, through the ASL Brazil Project.



The Beneficiary has received a grant from the World Bank for the execution of the Project SUSTAINABLE LANDSCAPES OF THE AMAZON PHASE 2 – ASL BRAZIL 2 of No. TF0B6898. The Project has as



its main objective to promote integrated landscape management and the conservation of terrestrial and freshwater ecosystems in specific areas, in order to improve the management and connectivity of Protected Areas in the Amazon Region. The Project is being implemented by the World Bank (World Bank), coordinated by the Ministry of the Environment and Climate Change (MMA) and executed by the Getulio Vargas Foundation (FGV).

The GETULIO VARGAS FOUNDATION hereby announces that the deadline for eligible individual consultants interested in submitting a REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST is open for the hiring of an Individual Consultant for the development and implementation of an integrated web platform that enables the consolidation, dynamic updating, and visualization of ecological restoration data managed by ICMBio, including public consultation functionalities, and organized into different levels of access, territorial and thematic filters, and tools to support management and decision-making. Interested parties must demonstrate that they are qualified and have the experience to perform the service, as described in the Terms of Reference, available at: https://asl-brasil.fgv.br/compras-e-contratacoes



Expressions of Interest must be submitted by 05/11/2025, at 00:00 hours, to the email asl2.compras@fgv.br. The Expressions must be identified as REI No. 11/2025. Subject: Integrated technological solution for the Bank of Degraded Areas of ICMBio, through the ASL Brazil Project. Interested individual consultants should present their resume and other supporting documents as per the requirements defined in the Terms of Reference.



This Request for Expression of Interest does not imply any commitment to hiring. Eligible individual consultants will be evaluated according to the rules of the "Regulation of Procurement for Borrowers of Investment Project Financing, September 2023 edition".
