The products are necessary for equipping the structure of the Faculty of Biotechnologies at USAMV - Bucharest, as part of the program co-financed by the European Union, SMART GROWTH, DIGITALIZATION, AND FINANCIAL INSTRUMENTS 2021-2027, Call: PCIDIF/144/PCIDIF_P1/OP1/RSO1.1/PCIDIF_A3 - Funding for projects aiming at synergies with Horizon Europe actions and other European programs, under Action 1.3, for more developed regions (ESFRI –ERIC), within the Project: Strengthening the integration of the Romanian METROFOOD-RO node into the European METROFOOD-RI research infrastructure, acronym METROFOOD-RO Evolve, Code SMIS 2021+ 309287. Fraction Collector and ELSD Detector.
To meet the project's objective, it is necessary to purchase, install, mount, and put into operation the following laboratory equipment: - Fraction Collector for precise separation and collection of biochemical compounds that can be subsequently tested for evaluating biological activity; this equipment works as an auxiliary equipment to the UHPLC Aquity Arc system available at the university. - ELSD Detector (Evaporative Light Scattering Detector) contributes to broadening the range of precision chemical analyses, allowing for the detection of compounds of interest in a short time; this equipment also works as an auxiliary to the UHPLC Aquity Arc system available at the university. It will also be used for validating some spectrophotometric analytical methods and for participation in interlaboratory tests. The products included in this procedure will be delivered and put into operation at the headquarters of the contracting authority in Bucharest (Faculty of Biotechnologies), within the timeframe specified for each lot, according to the provisions of the specifications, the timeframe quantified from the date of signing the contract by both parties/the date of sending the firm order. The installation/putting into operation of the equipment will be carried out in accordance with the provisions of the specifications.

UV-VIS Spectrophotometer with double beam.
To meet the project's objective, it is necessary to purchase, install, mount, and put into operation the following laboratory equipment: • The warranty granted with a double beam allows obtaining analytical results with higher precision and accuracy. Spectrophotometric methods are the most used in current practice, especially in the optimization stages of some processes where a rapid but precise response is required simultaneously. The spectrophotometer will be used for optimizing the extraction of some compounds for the valorization of residues as inputs for sustainable agriculture. It will also be used for validating some spectrophotometric analytical methods and for participation in interlaboratory tests. The products included in this procedure will be delivered and put into operation at the headquarters of the contracting authority in Bucharest (Faculty of Biotechnologies), within the timeframe specified for each lot, according to the provisions of the specifications, the timeframe quantified from the date of signing the contract by both parties/the date of sending the firm order.
