Description:
External consultancy services are sought for mapping and assessing natural values to enhance the safeguarding of biological diversity in Oslo, including the revision of existing data and preparation of care plans.

The contract includes external consultancy services for mapping and assessing natural values.

The Agency for Urban Environment has overall professional responsibility for safeguarding biological diversity in Oslo municipality. The Agency for Urban Environment operates a separate nature database with the accompanying digital mapping for nature type areas, game areas, areas with selected foreign plant species etc. This data is an important basis for ensuring that case processing and political decisions in Oslo municipality occur in accordance with the Diversity of Nature Act ́s requirements for the knowledge basis.

The aim of the procurement is to improve the professional basis for safeguarding the biological diversity in Oslo municipality, through new mapping and revising the existing mapping/information. This also includes the preparation of care plans and other professional reviews. The procurement shall also take care of the Agency for Urban Environment ́s need for mapping in connection with various development projects etc. See the requirement specifications for further details on the procurement and the delivery requirements.
