The Agency for Urban Environment operates a separate nature database with the accompanying digital mapping for nature type areas, game areas, areas with selected foreign plant species etc. This data is an important basis for ensuring that case processing and political decisions in Oslo municipality occur in accordance with the Diversity of Nature Act ́s requirements for the knowledge basis.

The aim of the procurement is to improve the professional basis for safeguarding the biological diversity in Oslo municipality, through new mapping and revising the existing mapping/information. This also includes the preparation of care plans and other professional reviews.
