The HUS Group (hereafter HUS) is requesting information from market players regarding basic PCR devices in preparation for a planned upcoming procurement. The aim is to map the available equipment solutions in the market, their features, costs, and various procurement options for a potential longer-term procurement contract primarily for the needs of the genetics laboratory of the HUS Diagnostics Center. The genetics laboratory of the HUS Diagnostics Center is an accredited laboratory according to the SFS-EN ISO 15189:2022 standard, which provides genetic diagnostics and monitoring research services for all patients in the HUS area.

Response Instructions

We ask suppliers to submit their responses by email to kilpailutus.diagnostiikka@hus.fi no later than May 29, 2026.

The response should name a contact person (name and email address) for any clarifying questions or for potential bilateral market consultations to be arranged later. Suppliers may also optionally attach brochures and other supporting materials to their response.

The response should include at least the following information:

1. Offered basic PCR device models along with their key technical specifications, CE markings, and other approvals, as well as warranty and delivery times for the devices.
2. Content and availability of maintenance services and technical support in Finland, along with available maintenance contract options.
3. Description of device-specific consumables and their delivery times.
4. Description of the available procurement models (purchase, rental, leasing, usage-based pricing).
5. Indicative cost estimate for a period of 48 months for the various available procurement models, including the device, maintenance costs (for different options), and device-specific consumables.
