Region Värmland (the region) is conducting this procurement regarding Information Security and IT - and Cybersecurity as a Service (Team Delivery) with a description in the procurement documents.

TEAM
The region is looking for a Team Delivery to manage the following two (2) areas:
Area IT and Cybersecurity:
The IT and Cybersecurity Manager implies leading the region's strategic/tactical IT and cybersecurity work by planning, coordinating, developing, and following up on the IT and cybersecurity work. The IT and Cybersecurity Manager must also ensure that the current mission is coordinated with the other parts of the region's security work. See more under area IT and Cybersecurity.
Area Information Security:
The Information Security Manager is responsible for overall leadership of the region's strategic/tactical information security work by planning, coordinating, developing, and following up on the information security work. The Information Security Manager must also ensure that the current mission is coordinated with other parts of the region's information security work. See more under area Information Security.
Much of the work can be done remotely, but some meetings will need to be conducted on-site in Karlstad. Estimated to be at least 2 days/week, but arrangements will be made with the assigned supplier over time.
Each team delivery has a base occupancy rate of 100% (2 full-time positions). Temporary efforts with increased delivery should be possible to occur in special needs. For example, for training initiatives in information security, or to rectify certain technical solutions based on changing requirements regarding IT security. The efforts may vary in extent depending on needs and can involve anything from a day's effort to a more extensive effort that involves several resources and a longer period.
All consultants need to undergo security classification, so Swedish citizenship is a prerequisite. Security classification occurs after assignment and if it turns out that any consultant does not pass the security assessment, an alternative must be offered immediately if the contract is to continue to apply.
