The municipal utility transport company Wilhelmshaven GmbH, hereafter referred to as SWWV, is the operator of the local public transport in the independent city of Wilhelmshaven. It operates a bus depot. The existing infrastructure is to be converted for the operation of electric buses. In the first step, the operation of 8 zero-emission buses is planned. An energy center has been developed, which includes two transformers and the low-voltage distribution system that will supply the charging infrastructure in the future. All electrical energy will be provided via a medium voltage connection through an external medium voltage transfer station by the energy supplier. The entire charging infrastructure will be supplied with energy through this medium voltage transfer station. To potentially set up one or more additional transformer stations on the bus depot site later, the transfer station will be equipped with two outgoing fields, to which the transformers will be directly connected.
