Procurement of electric buses.
The subject of the procurement procedure is the delivery of a total of six (6) battery-electric low-floor city buses (12 m), distributed over two delivery batches in the years 2027 and 2028 (hereinafter referred to as "E-buses"). The vehicles must meet the requirements of the performance specification. The charging of the battery buses should take place via a CCS charging connector in the sense of depot charging. The charging infrastructure will be procured through a separate tender. In light of the objective of providing climate-friendly transportation services, SWPS, with the support of the funding program "Guideline for the Promotion of Alternative Drives for Buses in Public Transport", will introduce battery-electric buses in the city of Pirmasens. The funding program covers 75% of the eligible expenses according to the funding decision. The funding is essential for the procurement decision of Stadtwerke Pirmasens Verkehrs GmbH. Timely and contract-compliant delivery is significant for accessing funding.
