Recruitment of a national consultant specialized in the environment for the project management unit in the preparation of the PForR program


The Government of the Republic of Djibouti has obtained a grant from the International Development Association (IDA) for the Preparation Facility Project for the Economic Diversification Program (GFPP) in Djibouti, and intends to use part of the amount to make payments under the service contract of a national environmental specialist consultant for the project management unit in the preparation of the PForR and IPF programs for the benefit of the GFPP project management unit.

The Unified Fiduciary Management Unit-MEFI (UGFU-MEFI) invites eligible candidates (Consultants) to express their interest in providing the above-mentioned services. Interested Consultants must provide information showing that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience for the performance of the mission.


Consultants are advised that the provisions of Section III, paragraphs 3.14, 3.16, and 3.17 of the World Bank’s Procurement Regulations for Borrowers, November 2020, outlining the World Bank's policy on conflict of interest are applicable.


A Consultant will be selected according to the method of “Quality-Based Selection of Consultants (QC)” as described in the Consultant Guidelines.
