MDR Service with EDR Solution

In the context of this tender, a combination of a technical solution and a service is requested:

- A technical solution in the area of EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response). The currently used AV solution will be replaced during the implementation.

- This technical solution should be provided by an external vendor as a Managed Detection and Response (MDR) service, also referred to as a Security Operations Center (SOC), including continuous 24x7 security monitoring. There is already an existing incident response provider. The contractor must ensure that efficient collaboration with the existing provider can take place. This includes, for example, the transfer of alarm and incident-related data.

The term is set to 3 years with a one-time, unilateral option for the client to extend for another 12 months, and both the technical solution and the MDR service must meet the requirements of state-of-the-art technology. In addition to the basic exclusion criteria, further requirements for the technical solution and the MDR service are defined to ensure seamless integration into the existing IT infrastructure.
