The procurement includes a complete and functioning facility for electrical connection of ships, installed on site at the Port of Stockholm Norvik in Nynäshamn Municipality.
 
The contract/assignment includes supplementing the existing electrical system with a transformer, frequency converter and power electronics to be able to deliver both 50 and 60 Hz to ships. This is done by the contractor building a station for the additional equipment, and placing it next to the existing station.
