Description:
Planning services are needed for the establishment of a charging infrastructure for e-mobility at a construction yard in Detmold, including the installation of charging points, electrical distribution networks, load management, and a backend solution for data processing and billing.

The establishment of a charging infrastructure for e-mobility is planned on the premises of the construction and operations yard located at Georgstraße 10, 32756 Detmold. For this construction project, planning services in accordance with HOAI in the version applicable at the time of contract conclusion are to be awarded.

LOT-0001
Establishment of a charging infrastructure for e-mobility planning services specialized electrical planning.
The contract specifically includes the services outlined in the specialized electrical planning profile. It is intended to award phases 1-9.

The planning, tendering, and implementation of the measure thus encompass the following points:

  • Renewal of the medium voltage supply in the transformer station,
  • Establishment of a new electrical distribution network for the charging infrastructure.
  • Construction of AC and DC charging points with corresponding supply to vehicles via the ceiling, wall, or as columns.
  • Load management for the intelligent control of charging processes.
  • Data network for the charging infrastructure.
  • Backend solution for billing and evaluating charging data.

It is planned to create approximately 56 charging points in five halls by mid-2028 and to prepare the infrastructure for about 50 additional charging points, allowing for the retrofitting of additional charging points in the halls as needed.

In a subsequent construction phase (2029/2030), it is currently planned to create another 27 charging points and to establish infrastructure for about 10 stations. These charging points must be considered in the sizing of the power supply.

Following a fleet analysis, approximately 106 charging points are required for the conversion of all potential vehicles to electric drives. The numerical discrepancy between the planned charging points and those from the vehicle analysis is intended to allow for flexible responses to changing requirements of vehicles and parking spaces.

The construction and operations yard has its own transformer station with a 315 kVA transformer and a photovoltaic system with 281 kWp. The fleet analysis has shown that the supply of charging points is only possible with effective load management. This is therefore also a key point of the planning services.

The amounts of electricity charged for individual vehicles must be recorded and processed further. For example, the amounts of electricity used by waste collection vehicles must be accounted for the waste fees, and for private cars, the consumption must be recorded for billing with employees. A comprehensive and user-friendly backend solution is required for this.
