The Cairngorms National Park Authority is seeking to appoint a consultant to deliver the Cairngorms Future Farming “Regenerative Transition Support Package” for farmers in the National Park. The Support Package is designed to provide a comprehensive programme including group training and bespoke 1:1 advice to support farmers through a whole-system transition to regenerative farming. The successful consultant will have expertise in advising livestock or mixed farmers in upland areas on how to design and transition to a regenerative farming system.
Recruitment of farmers to the Support Package will take place in February-April 2026. Work associated with this contract is subject to the number of recruited farmers and to reaching the minimum threshold of 5 farmers and is therefore not guaranteed. The contract value is the total estimated value assuming 15 farms are recruited, however, actual payment will be based on the number of farms recruited and the per farm details provided by the consultant in their Cost Table.
